The Climping Gap remains one of the last undeveloped sites along the coast in West Sussex. This site is dedicated to Birds seen in and around the Climping Gap area by myself and a few die hard friends, that live in the area and have been birding the local patch for decades. This morning at Climping in a dull grey damp day offshore, 6 Diver Sp 5e 1w, 2 Mediterranean Gull, 1 Great C Grebe, and several Red b Mergs. In the fields 12 Brent Geese, 14 Lapwing, 1 Jack Snipe, 3 Snipe, 25 Grey Plover, 1 Peregrine, 5 Feildfare, and still hundreds of Skylark around. 1 Kingfisher at Ath Pools and several Sanderling on the beach.
