The Climping Gap remains one of the last undeveloped sites along the coast in West Sussex. This site is dedicated to Birds seen in and around the Climping Gap area by myself and a few die hard friends, that live in the area and have been birding the local patch for decades. Had a quick look at the patch this morning looking very grey and quiet but did manage to see a few local birds. 1w 1e Mediterranean Gull, several Red B Mergansers offshore, 2e Shelduck, and 9 Brent Geese. 1 Stonechat on the beach, 1 Firecrest with the Long T Tit flock at Atherington, the Kingfisher still present by the pool, and 1 Sparrowhawk. Also Peregrine today roosting on the gas tower.
