Pied Fly - Puigderos Majorca Sept 2017

11 February, 2017

A very cold damp gloomy morning at Climping this morning, with the sea looking calm and lots of birds sitting on the sea. With c.600 Brent Geese and a further c.500 moving east, Red-throated Divers present again in good numbers with c.30 on the sea and a least 37 east. Good numbers of both Great-crested Grebe with c. 50 present and c.70 Common Scoter. Just 2 Mediterranean Gull and a couple of Common Gull, 4 Shelduck flew west.  A Seal present close inshore, 39 Sanderling and c.75 Turnstone along the shoreline.
