I took a walk around the Farm this morning and was presently rewarded with a Cattle Egret in a field with a Little Egret feeding amongst the cows. Also a Scaup on the big pool. Sorry no directions will be given on the Cattle Egret as it was well away from any public footpath.

Cattle Egret

Yesterday at Climping again very quiet offshore with the usual mix of Great-crested Grebe and Red-breasted Merganser, a single Red-throated Diver flew east close inshore and a Med Gull flew west. In the fields at Climping were  9 Oystercatcher and 8 Grey Partridge, a Rock Pipit along the beach near Poole Place, the Brent Geese numbers increased to 87 and still good numbers of Skylark in the area with a flock of 14 seen coming in off the sea.
