A quick visit this morning around the patch produced 61 Sand Martin moving west, 6 Swift in off the sea, a Whimbrel heard only and the first Wheatear of the autumn. (RK)

Another quiet morning around Climping beach, very little moving offshore and the usual suspects in the bushes.

I covered the beach this morning from West Beach upto Climping and noticed several Med Gulls along the shoreline, numbers of both Linnets and Goldfinch on the increase, and juv Whitethroat and Reed Warbler in the bushes.
