An hour sea watch at Climping car park produced 2w Red-throated Divers, 1w Brent Goose, 5w Curlew, 7 Mediterranean Gull along the shore line 100+ Common Gull, 4w Common Scoter, 2 Great-crested Grebe, 6 Red-breasted Mergansers and 1 Grey Heron.
Yesterday 5 Mediterranean Gull and 7w Shelduck.
The Climping Gap remains one of the last undeveloped sites along the coast in West Sussex. This site is dedicated to Birds seen in and around the Climping Gap area by myself and a few die hard friends, that live in the area and have been birding the local patch for decades. Black Redstart around the Litthampton Marina until 3pm at least, and a Stonechat on West Beach.

A walk around marsh farm this morning in the glorious sunshine produced, good numbers of Wildfowl on both pools, with Gadwall, Tufted Duck, Teal, Wigeon and Mallard present. Also 2 squealing Water Rail, 3 Little and 1 Great-crested Grebe. 1 Kingfisher flashed across the main pool, 1 Buzzard, 1 Chiffchaff, and good numbers of both Redwing and Fieldfare.
