The Climping Gap remains one of the last undeveloped sites along the coast in West Sussex. This site is dedicated to Birds seen in and around the Climping Gap area by myself and a few die hard friends, that live in the area and have been birding the local patch for decades. (Please email your sighting's to lobas@btinternet.com or Tweet to @BirdsofClimping).

A glorious morning starting from the back of the golf course, finding c60 Linnet north of the golf course, good numbers of Greenfinch, Goldfinch and a couple of Jay. Through longwood which was very quiet, then through the setaside at the bottom of Longwood finding 2 Stonechat, plenty of Reed Bunting, Meadow Pipit, Skylark, Pied Wagtail, Song Thrush and a Kestrel. Back along the west beach, with mixed flock of the commoner Gulls on the tideline with several Sanderling.
