 Climping Gap:  Friday 15th

I made a visit to the West Beach (Local Nature reserve) by the cafe and the river mouth, and spent a very pleasant hour there (1120-1220hrs according to my car park ticket). My target was a Dartford Warbler that has been present for some days and fortunately I didn't have to wait too long for it to appear, and also present there were two Stonechats. I then spent half an hour sea-watching and was surprised to find two late Sandwich Terns going east, followed by four Red-breasted Mergansers, then two Brent Geese and a single Common Scoter went west.
