 A Merlin in the top fields west of the camp site was the highlight of the morning, also a Firecrest with Goldcrest at Kents (CN). 5 Stonechat a couple of Blackcap & Chiffchaff around the bushes in blustery conditions, as well Reed Bunting and Yellowhammer present, 5 Yellow Wagtail and a trickle of both Swallow & House Martin continue moving west.

Out before and after the heavy shower, with a few more Chiffs on view but nothing to get excited about.  Constant stream of Swallow  moving east.

Two Firecrest, 2-3 Spotted Flycatcher at Bailiffscourt and a Hobby over the campsite reported by (OM) at Climping this morning, and a Pied and 3 Spot Fly at Littlehampton cemetery seen  by (CJ) this morning.

 The Wryneck was still around the setaside this morning, but flew into the horse paddock late morning and then became very elusive. Good numbers of hirundine again on the move and  Chiffchaff numbers must have reached three figures.

 A Wryneck found by (DB) in the setaside off Climping Beach was the highlight of an cold bright morning. Several Hundreds of Swallow and House Martin on the move over the sea with just a couple of Sand Martin present, but no sign of the Red-backed Shrike late afternoon, combined totals below.

Quite lively this morning with a Pied Flycatcher by the 12th Tee at the back of the golf course also a Spotted Fly around the the course, 22 Willow Warbler & 22 Wheatear, 2 Whinchat and good counts of hirundine with 750+ Swallow, 100+ House Martin and 20+ Sand Martin moving east. (RG)
