An hour seawatch mid morning at Climping found very little although groups of scoter offshore being put by the fishing boats.

Hundreds and hundreds of Swift again moving high through the patch this morning. Offshore 3 Great-crested Grebe, 15 Sandwich Tern, 2 Med Gull west, 6 Little Egret and a Grey Heron.

Good numbers of Swifts this afternoon, several in off the sea, with groups feeding over the fields and moving off north east. Also 3 Yellowhammer, 4 Little Egret, 3 Buzzard, Kestrel, with Blackcap, Reed Warbler, Whitethroat, Reed Bunting and Chiffchaffs still singing.

Popped over to Mile Oak mid morning to see the Cirl Bunting, still singing and showing well in blustery conditions.
