A bright clear start to the day meant I was not optimistic about seeing too many birds but the morning proved that not to be the case, even though most of the birds were Chiffchaffs! Highlight was undoubtably the pair of Dartford Warblers on the set aside, they showed well as they moved across the scrub. (RP)

Records for Sunday 4th Sept, were the assumed Grey-headed Wagtail was again present in the field west of the golf course by the Mill, also plentt of Yellow Wagtail, 2 White Wagtail, 2 Whinchat, 3 Wheatear, 1 Garden Warbler, and 30 Ringed Plover.

A good candidate for a Grey-headed Wagtail, found by (RG) in the first field west of the golf course by the Mill Cottage. Associating with other Yellow Wagtails, staying loyal to that corner of the field and surrounding bushes. Hopefully better images will emerge, combined totals for this morning below.
