Two Grasshopper Warblers in the patch this morning with birds on the golf course and in the  setaside. Good numbers of Reed & Sedge Warblers as well as Whitethroat and Chiffchaff.

A pre work visit to the patch found my first Willow Warbler of the autumn around the paddock, also 2 Lesser Whitethroat and 3 Reed Bunting. On the tide line 70 Med Gull, 3 Sandwich Tern,2 Redshank, 2 Whimbrel, 3 Oystercatcher and 6 Turnstone.

 An amazing spectacle this morning with hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of Swifts moving west through the gap mid morning accompanied by c.75 Sand Martin and small number of Swallow, feeding over the pea fields east of Bailiffscourt, and all moved through in about 45 minutes. Little else of note with 3 Curlew, 1 Whimbrel and 2 Oystercatcher all moving west offshore and no more than 60 Med Gull seen today.

Quiet morning with 2 Little Tern east then west at Climping Beach, 25 Med Gull in the area also 2 Curlew and 2 Oystercatcher.

Yesterday mixed parties of Hirundine moving east with at least 20 Sand Martin, 2 Lesser Whitethroat, 2 Reed Bunting and 3 Yellowhammer the only highlights.

Quiet this morning with 7 Sand Martin moving through east, 30 Med Gull, a Lesser Whitethroat  and a Whimbrel heard.

A quiet morning with a unexpected Redstart in the horse paddock, and 70+ Swift moving east. Offshore with 5 Little Egret, 30 Sandwich and a single Common Tern moving mainly west with 3 Med Gull and 2 Curlew.
