I started at Elmer Rocks (0745-1030hrs) and watched a a fair bit around the Poole Place area......my list was:
Gannet - 20 o/s
Common Scoter - 1W
Teal - 3W
Shag - 1 roosting on Elmer Rocks, later on sea off Poole P
Sandwich Tern - 4E
Dunlin - 2E - went over Pool P calling and seen
Redshank - 1 just east Poole P, later roosting on Elmer rocks
Oystercatcher - 10 on beach
Bar-tailed Godwit - 1 with Oyc's
Meadow Pipit - 35N
Grey Wagtail - 1E
Wheatear - 3
Stonechat - 2 Poole P
Goldfinch - 15N
Siskin - 10N
Swallow - no count, several 100's trickling east in steady flow

Chilly start in a brisk northern wind. A good day for Chiffchaffs. Good number of interesting birds along track to old railway carriages.(RP)
