Pretty dire with little offshore worth logging, but the only thing of interest was three finches heading west past me near Poole Place, which turned out to be Siskins.

Once again the Black-necked Grebe was present at the local reservoir as were 2 Little Grebes, 10 Coots, 28 Tufted Ducks and 3 Mallard. It was very windy on top of the bank, but I spent time scanning around for big swifts, all to no avail, though a pair of Grey Partridges flew into cover from the scrubby uncultivated area. (OM)
