Onto Marsh Farm this afternoon which was not a lot better with just 2 Water Rail, 5 Teal, 3 Chiffchaff, 6 Goldcrest, 2 Reed Bunting, 27 Redwing and 3 Buzzard.

The Climping Gap remains one of the last undeveloped sites along the coast in West Sussex. This site is dedicated to Birds seen in and around the Climping Gap area by myself and a few die hard friends, that live in the area and have been birding the local patch for decades. Very quiet at Climping this morning with just small numbers of Common Scoter, Red-breasted Merganser and Great-crested Grebe offshore. Small numbers of Sanderling and Turnstone along the tide line with with singles of Ringed Plover, Curlew and a Med Gull flying east.
