The Climping Gap remains one of the last undeveloped sites along the coast in West Sussex. This site is dedicated to Birds seen in and around the Climping Gap area by myself and a few die hard friends, that live in the area and have been birding the local patch for decades. Early evening visit around the Farm produced my first House and Sand Martin of the spring amongst the many Swallows. Reed and Sedge Warbler in full song along with a couple of Cetti's in the reedbeds.
Ditto as yesterday really although a Red Kite over the golf course late morning was a nice surprise and my first Sedge heard along with Cetti's Warbler from the footpath. A Common Tern flew over the mill cottage, and a few more Swallow on the move was about it.
