The Climping Gap remains one of the last undeveloped sites along the coast in West Sussex. This site is dedicated to Birds seen in and around the Climping Gap area by myself and a few die hard friends, that live in the area and have been birding the local patch for decades. A juv Bullfinch around the old camp site was the highlight of the morning, although 2 Lesser Whitethroat at the end of mill path was a close second. A pair of Grey Partridge flushed from the west beach, looked like failed breee several Swift and a single Kestrel. Offshore 1 Med Gull flew west along with 4 Gannet and several Sandwich Tern feeding.
A quick visit to Marsh Farm produced 2 Great-crested Grebe, a single juv, 2 Tufted Duck and 2 Pochard, and 2 Yellowhammer and a Buzzard.
