Out and about late morning due to a visit to the dentist, only discover large number of House Martin moving west over Kents Cottages c.700. About 125 Yellow Wagtail in the fields along with 6 Wheatear, 2 Buzzard, 10 Grey Partridge and 5 Willow Warbler in the bushes.

A record count of over 600 Yellow Wagtail in the patch today, with large numbers moving east early morning but still good numbers present  in fields north of the Mill Cottage early afternoon. Combined totals below include an elusive Pied Fly at Atherington.

Small number of  Chiffchaff, Willow and Reed Warbler around this morning, along with a single Yellow Wagtail.  1 Grey Plover, 13 Shelduck flew west at West Beach, also 2 Med Gull there and a Fulmar flew east.
