The Climping Gap remains one of the last undeveloped sites along the coast in West Sussex.
This site is dedicated to Birds seen in and around the Climping Gap area by myself and a few die hard friends, that live in the area and have been birding the local patch for decades.

A quick look around the patch this morning, with 5 Little Egret around West Beach ,2 Ringed Plover and 3 Mediterranean Gull moving west, several Sandwich Tern feeding offshore and a party of Swift flew east over the mill cottage.
A walk up river on the east side to the Ship & Anchor Pub this morning produced the following; Swift - 20 House Martin - 5 Swallow - 7 Whitethroat - 4 Reed Warbler - 9 Sedge Warbler - 3 Blackcap - 2 Chiffchaff - 2 Reed Bunting - 1 Yellowhammer - 1 Skylark - 6 Green Woodpecker - 1 Great-spotted Woodpecker - 1 Lapwing - 1 Med Gull - 1 Stock Dove - 8 Grey Heron - 8 Little Egret - 5 Hobby - 1 Buzzard - 2
