An evening stroll around Atherington for an hour produced a Hobby flying at speed over Bailiffscourt through hundreds of hirundine,  6 Grey Partridge in fields back of paddock with 2 Spotted Fly and 4 Goldcrest around the hotel grounds.

With a chilly north east breeze this morning reminding everybody we are now in autumn there was still a good passage of hirundine on the move, the majority being Swallow, with up to 75 House Martin and 35 Sand Martin moving through east.
