The Climping Gap remains one of the last undeveloped sites along the coast in West Sussex.
This site is dedicated to Birds seen in and around the Climping Gap area by myself and a few die hard friends, that live in the area and have been birding the local patch for decades.

Yellow-rumped Warbler Florida Nov 2017
11 June, 2015
A beautiful sunny morning with a hint of a north easterly breeze saw me trekking along Climping beach. Small numbers of Gannet and Sandwich Tern feeding offshore with singles of Common Tern and 2 Great-crested Grebe. Good numbers of Whitethroat, Reed Warbler and Blackcap still in song and pairs of Buzzards, Sparrowhawk and Kestrel soaring over Poole place along with small numbers of Swift. Reed Bunting and a Grey Partridge along the beach being the only other birds of note.
